GATE 2025 Notification : Application Form Correction
For candidates who have applied for GATE 2025 and have made mistakes while filling out the application form, an opportunity for correction has been provided. The last date for making corrections in the GATE 2025 application form has been extended from November 10, 2024, to November 20, 2024. Candidates can log in to the GOAPS 2025 portal and make any changes in their application form.
However, there are certain details that cannot be changed in the application form, as mentioned below:

- Mobile phone number
- Registered email ID
To make corrections in the application form, candidates will need to pay a fee. Different changes will require different fees.
Correction fees:
- Change in name: ₹500
- Change in date of birth: ₹500
- Change in exam center selection: ₹500
- Change in existing center: ₹500
- Adding another paper: ₹500 (including application fee for the additional paper)
- Gender change (from female to other gender): ₹500 + ₹900 = ₹1400 (for all other candidates)
- Change from SC/ST to other category: ₹500 (for female and PWD candidates) | ₹500 + ₹900 = ₹1400 (for all others)
- Change from PWD/Dyslexic to Non-PWD/Dyslexic: ₹500 (for female or PWD candidates) | ₹500 + ₹900 = ₹1400 (for all other candidates)
- Any other category change: ₹500
No fee for changes in the following details:

- College name and location, roll number, registration number
